It is a colorless clear liquid with aroma that like natural green floral earthy fungal. It can be soluble in alcohol and slightly in water. Ethyl hexyl acetal is widely applied in the use of fruity, food and flavors. It can be produced by the reaction of Vinyl ether and Hexanol and acid catalyst is added at the same time. Besides, It can be directly produced by the reaction of Acetal and Hexanol .
