The Nickel cyanide, with the CAS registry number 557-19-7, is also known as Nickel dicyanide. Its EINECS number is 209-160-8. This chemical's molecular formula is C2N2Ni and molecular weight is 110.73. What's more, its systematic name is dicyanonickel. It is stable, but reacts violently with magnesium. This chemical can be prepared by potassium cyanide solution and nickel sulfate in stronger ammonia water. It is used as components of electroplating bath and metallurgy.
