Nucleophilic addition to dimethylvinylphosphine sulfide as a convenient route to polydentate ligands containing the 2-dimethylphosphinoethyl unit
Griffiths, D. Vaughan,Groombridge, Helen J.,Mahoney, Peter M.,Swetnam, Stephen P.,Walton, Garry,York, David C.
, p. 4595 - 4600 (2005)
The synthesis of a range of new phosphine-containing polydentate ligands has been achieved by addition of sulfur and nitrogen nucleophiles to dimethylvinylphosphine sulfide, followed by reduction of the resulting phosphine sulfides with lithium aluminium hydride.
Synthesis of bidentate mixed donor phosphorus/nitrogen ligands
Field, Leslie D.,Luck, Ian J.
, p. 1109 - 1112 (2007/10/02)
3-(N,N-Dimethylamino)-1-(dimethylphosphino)propane was synthesised by the photochemical addition of one equivalent of dimethylphosphine to N,N- dimethylallylamine. Synthesis of 2-(N,N- dimethylamino)dimethylphosphinoethane was achieved by the reaction of tetramethyldiphosphine with N,N-dimethyl-2-chloroethylamine.
