3-(Diphenylamino)phenol, also known as diphenylamino phenol, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C18H15NO. It is an aromatic amine and phenol derivative that is commonly used in the production of hair dyes and color photography. As a light-sensitive compound, it is used as a photoconductor in electrophotography and as a component in the production of photoinitiators for free radical polymerization. It is also utilized in the synthesis of organic pigments and fluorescent dyes.
