Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1114-91-6 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,1,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1114-91:
(6*1)+(5*1)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*9)+(1*1)=46
46 % 10 = 6
So 1114-91-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Metal-directed formation of tetra-, hexa-, octa-, and nonanuclear complexes of magnesium, calcium, manganese, copper, and cadmium
Saalfrank, Rolf W.,Lo?w, Norbert,Demleitner, Bernhard,Stalke, Dietmar,Teichert, Markus
, p. 1305 - 1311 (2007/10/03)
Reactions of bis-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds H2L (1) with metal dichlorides of cadmium, manganese and calcium in the presence of aqueous ammonia affords octanuclear supramolecular coordination complexes [M8L8]·4Y (2-5), whereas reaction with magnesium dichloride yields an adamantanoid tetranuclear cluster [(4NH4) · (Mg4L6/a)] (6). Treatment of copper dichloride with diethyl ketipinate 1a and sodium hydroxide furnishes the double-/triple-decker metallacoronares [{[Na · (Cu3L3/a)BF4]·THF·H2O}2] (7) and [{Nac · (Cu3L3a)BF4}3·2THF] (8) with an encapsulated sodium ion. Since the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of diamagnetic 2 and 5 and paramagnetic 4, 7 and 8 do not unambiguously establish the exact Structure of these compounds, exemplary X-ray diffraction analyses of 4, 7 and 8 were carried out.
