The invention discloses a preparation method of difluorophosphoric acid metal salt, which comprises the following steps: (1) in a non-aqueous solvent, fluorinating dihalogen phosphate by a catalyst and a fluorinating agent to obtain difluorophosphate; (2) mixing the difluorophosphate and metal salt in a non-aqueous solvent, conducting heating and reacting to obtain a difluorophosphate metal salt crude product; and (3) purifying the difluorophosphoric acid metal salt crude product to obtain the high-purity difluorophosphoric acid metal salt. The prepared difluorophosphoric acid metal salt has excellent yield and purity, the utilization efficiency of raw materials is high, the reaction is easy to operate, the whole reaction process is mild in condition and simple in technological process, the output of pollutants and by-products is reduced, and the difluorophosphoric acid metal salt has wide development prospects.
