An improved synthesis of chacotriose

Glycosylation using the trichloroacetimidate method was investigated in order to synthetize chacotriose. In a continuation of previous studies we present here a shorter approach to the synthesis of chacotriose, α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-[α:-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)] -D-glucopyranose.
