Arylation of Azaarylmethylamines with Aryl Chlorides and a NiBr2/NIXANTPHOS-based Catalyst
Gao, Gui,Fu, Yue,Li, Minyan,Wang, Bo,Zheng, Bing,Hou, Shicong,Walsh, Patrick J.
, p. 2890 - 2894 (2017)
A nickel-catalyzed coupling of azaarylmethylamines with aryl chlorides has been achieved. NIXANTPHOS together with low cost NiBr2 was successfully developed and optimized to exhibit high reactivity at 2.5 mol % loading. Under optimized reaction
Nickel-catalyzed arylation of heteroaryl-containing diarylmethanes: Exceptional reactivity of the Ni(NIXANTPHOS)-based catalyst
Cao, Xinyu,Sha, Sheng-Chun,Li, Minyan,Kim, Byeong-Seon,Morgan, Catherine,Huang, Rudan,Yang, Xiaodong,Walsh, Patrick J.
, p. 611 - 618 (2015/12/26)
Nickel(0)-catalyzed cross-coupling of heteroaryl-containing diarylmethanes with both aryl bromides and chlorides has been achieved. The success of this reaction relies on the introduction of a unique nickel/NIXANTPHOS-based catalyst system, which provides a direct route to triarylmethanes from heteroaryl-containing diarylmethanes. Reactivity studies indicate the Ni(NIXANTPHOS)-based catalyst exhibits enhanced reactivity over XANTPHOS derivatives and other Ni(phosphine)-based catalysts in the reactions examined.
Palladium-Catalyzed Benzylic C-H Arylation of Azaarylmethylamines
Kim, Byeong-Seon,Jiménez, Jacqueline,Gao, Feng,Walsh, Patrick J.
supporting information, p. 5788 - 5791 (2015/12/11)
A direct C-H functionalization approach to produce aryl(azaaryl)methylamines from azaarylmethylamines without directing groups is described. Under conditions where the azaarylmethylamines' C-H is reversibly deprotonated, a Pd(OAc)2/NIXANTPHOS-b
SYNTHESIS OF 2-AMINOMETHYLPYRIDINES FROM AMINONITRILES AND ACETYLENE
Ivanov, A. P.,Levin, D. Z.,Mortikov, E. S.,Promonenkov, V. K.
, p. 566 - 570 (2007/10/02)
2-Aminomethylpyridines were synthesized from α-aminonitriles containing various substitutents at the α-carbon atom and acetylene at elevated pressures and temperatures in the presence of η5-dicyclopentadienylcobalt (cobaltocene) as catalyst. The
