Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 124751-48-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,4,7,5 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 124751-48:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*4)+(5*7)+(4*5)+(3*1)+(2*4)+(1*8)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 124751-48-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Chelate-stabilised Tetrahydrofuran Complexes of Platinium(II).Crystal Structure of

Alcock, Nahaniel W.,Platt, Andrew W.G.,Pringle, Paul G.

, p. 2069 - 2072 (2007/10/02)

The platinum(II) complexes cis- and trans- (2) and (3) are described. The cis isomer (2) reacts with K to give the monochelate cis-- (4a) Complex (2) also reacts with AgClO4 to give the bis chelate cis- (5a).The tetrahydrofuran (thf) complexes (4a) and (5a) are compared with closely related alcohol and linear ether complexes and it is deduced that the trans influence of the neutral O-donors is in the order ROH>thf>R2O.The X-ray structure (R=0.039 for 5 730 diffractometer observed reflections of complex (4a) confirms the structural assignment; the Pt-O bond length 2,142(4)angstroem is somewhat longer than found for covalent Pt-O bonds.

Novel Basic Ligands for the Homogenous Catalytic Methanol Carbonylation, XXI. Synthesis and Properties of (Ether-Phosphane) Platinum Complexes

Lindner, Ekkehard,Speidel, Robert

, p. 437 - 443 (2007/10/02)

The (ether-phosphane) complexes cis-Cl2Pt(Ph2P-D)2 (2a, b) are obtained by reaction of Ph2P-D (1a, b) with either K2PtCl4 or Cl2Pt(COD) (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene).Both Cl- anions are abstracted from 2a, b using AgSbF6 to give the cationic bischelate complexes 2 (5a, b).The stepwise cleavage and reformation of Pt-O bonds in (ether-phosphane) platinum complexes is demonstrated by the sequence 5a -> (6a) -> (7a) -> 5a, when 5a, 6a, and 7a reacted with KCl, CO, and AgSbF6, respectively.Reduction of 2a with NaBH4 results in the formation of trans-H2Pt(Ph2P-D)2 (4a).In the presence of HCl 2a is reformed.Excess NaBH4 or heating of 4a yields the bischelate platinum(0) complex Pt(PH2P*D)2 (3a), which is also isolated by reduction of 2a with sodium amalgam.A general method for obtaining Pt(Ph2P*D)2 (3a - c) is the substitution of COD in Pt(COD)2 by the ether-phosphanes 1a - c.The structures and bonding properties of the compounds 2 - 7 are discussed on the basis of their 31P NMR and IR spectra. - Keywords: Ether-Phosphanes, Platinum Complexes, 31P NMR Spectra, IR Spectra
