Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 129823-46-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,9,8,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 129823-46:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*9)+(5*8)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*4)+(1*6)=147
147 % 10 = 7
So 129823-46-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Diastereoselective Synthesis of syn-β-Lactams Using Rh-Catalyzed Reductive Mannich-Type Reaction of α,β-Unsaturated Esters

Isoda, Motoyuki,Sato, Kazuyuki,Funakoshi, Masato,Omura, Keiko,Tarui, Atsushi,Omote, Masaaki,Ando, Akira

, p. 8398 - 8405 (2015/09/01)

The combination of Et2Zn and RhCl(PPh3)3 led to the facile generation of a rhodium-hydride complex (Rh-H) that catalyzed the 1,4-reduction of α,β-unsaturated esters. The resulting rhodium enolate performed as a Reformatsky-type reagent and reacted with various imines to give syn-β-lactams in good to excellent yields with high diastereoselectivity.

Reductive Reformatsky-Honda reaction of α,β-unsaturated esters: Facile formation of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and β-hydroxy esters

Sato, Kazuyuki,Isoda, Motoyuki,Ohata, Shizuka,Morita, Shuhei,Tarui, Atsushi,Omote, Masaaki,Kumadaki, Itsumaro,Ando, Akira

supporting information; experimental part, p. 510 - 514 (2012/04/23)

The reaction of tris(triphenylphosphine)rhodium chloride [RhCl(PPh 3)3] with diethylzinc (Et2Zn) easily afforded a rhodium-hydride complex that effects the 1,4-reduction of α,β- unsaturated esters to give rhodium enolates. Formation of the rhodium enolate is followed by transmetalation with the zinc species to give a Reformatsky-type reagent, and this reacts with various acid chlorides at the α-position to give β-keto esters. The Reformatsky-type reagent also reacts with various electrophiles such as aldehydes, ketones and acid anhydrides to give the corresponding products in which the electrophiles were introduced reductively at the α-position of α,β-unsaturated esters. One-pot synthesis of β-amino esters from aldehydes using lanthanide triflate as a catalyst

Kobayashi, Sh,Araki, Mitsuharu,Yasuda, Masaru

, p. 5773 - 5776 (2007/10/02)

One-pot synthesis of a β-amino ester from an aldehyde, an amine, and a silyl enolate has been achieved using a lanthanide triflate as a catalyst. One-pot preparation of a β-lactam from an aldehyde is also described.

Highly enantioselective and diastereoselective synthesis of β-amino acid esters and β-lactams from achiral esters and imines

Corey,Decicco, Carl P.,Newbold, Ronald C.

, p. 5287 - 5290 (2007/10/02)

The reaction of S-tert-butyl thiopropionate with a number of N-benzyl or N-allyl aldimines (4) as promoted by the chiral diazaborolidine 1 and triethylamine afforded the β-amino acid esters 5 with high diastereoselectivity and enantioselectivity, providin
