General Description

2-ThiazoleMethanaMine, α-(phenylMethyl)-, (αS)-, also known as (S)-2-phenylmethylthiazolidine, is a chiral compound known for its use in pharmaceutical and chemical synthesis. It is a thiazolidine derivative with a phenylmethyl substituent at the alpha position, and exists as two enantiomers, with the (αS)-enantiomer being the naturally occurring form. 2-ThiazoleMethanaMine, α-(phenylMethyl)-, (αS)- has been studied for its potential as an anti-inflammatory and anti-tuberculosis agent, and has also been investigated for its ability to inhibit the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate translocase.
