Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Methyl 4-Amino-5-chloro-2-methoxybenzoate is used as a key intermediate in the synthesis of cyclohexenylphenyl pyrrolobenzodiazepine-3-carboxamides. These compounds serve as tocolytic oxytocin receptor antagonists, which are essential in the development of medications aimed at inhibiting uterine contractions during pregnancy, thus preventing preterm labor.
The compound's unique structure and properties make it a valuable building block in the creation of these pharmaceutical agents, contributing to their effectiveness in managing preterm labor and ensuring the health and safety of both the mother and the unborn child.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 130312-40-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,0,3,1 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 130312-40:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*1)+(3*2)+(2*4)+(1*0)=62
62 % 10 = 2
So 130312-40-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

CLASS OF BIFUNCTIONAL COMPOUNDS WITH QUATERNARY AMMONIUM SALT STRUCTURE
-
Paragraph 0308, (2019/11/11)
The invention provides a class of compounds represented by formula (I), having bifunctional active quaternary ammonium salt structure of a β2-adrenoreceptor agonist and an M receptor antagonist, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, and optical isomer thereof. A pharmaceutical composition comprising such a compound with quaternary ammonium salt structure, a method for preparing such a compound with quaternary ammonium salt structure and an intermediate thereof, and uses thereof in treating pulmonary disorders are also provided. The compounds of the invention have high selectivity to the M receptor subtype, and have less adverse reaction and lower toxic and side effects in the treatment of pulmonary diseases such as COPD and asthma.
