Usage

General Description

FMOC-GLN(TRT)-OPFP is a chemical compound consisting of a protected glutamine amino acid derivative. It contains the FMOC (fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) protecting group attached to the amino group of the glutamine residue, along with the TRT (trityl) protecting group attached to the side chain. Additionally, it has an OPFP (octafluro) phosphate protecting group at the carboxylic acid group. These protecting groups serve to temporarily shield certain functional groups during peptide synthesis or other biochemical processes. FMOC-GLN(TRT)-OPFP is commonly used in the field of peptide chemistry for adding glutamine residues to peptides or for further modification of glutamine-containing peptides.
