A highly reactive phosphagermacarbene (PGeHC) was synthesized by [3+2] cycloaddition between phosphagermaallene Tip(tBu)GeiCiPMes* (Tip= 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl; Mes=2,4,6-tris-tert-butylphenyl) and diphenylketene.
