Nucleoside 3'-N,N-diisopropylphosphonamidate building blocks for oligonucleotide syntheis were prepared in high yields from appropriately protected nucleosides by use of chlorobis(N,N-diisopropylamino)phosphine as a phosphitylating reagent.The 5'-dimethox
