One-Pot Condensation/Hydrosilylation System for IPN Formation
Iwahara, Takahisa,Kotani, Jun,Ando, Kiyoshi,Yonezawa, Kazuya
, p. 425 - 426 (1995)
A one-pot low-molecular model reaction system of condensation (1) and hydrosilylation (2) was proposed and studied for preparation of a silicon-based IPN.To make the both reactions proceed selectively, selection of catalysts and hydrosilanes were of importance.Effects of homogeneity of the system were also considered.
The cobalt(II) complex of a new tridentate Schiff-base ligand as a catalyst for hydrosilylation of olefins
Gorczyński, Adam,Zaranek, MacIej,Witomska, Samanta,Bocian, Aleksandra,Stefankiewicz, Artur R.,Kubicki, MacIej,Patroniak, Violetta,Pawlu?, Piotr
, p. 71 - 74 (2016/02/26)
Condensation of 1-methyl-2-imidazolecarboxaldehyde with 2-(1-methylhydrazinyl)pyridine results in the synthesis of new, tridentate Schiff-base ligand L, which readily reacts with CoCl2 to form a monometallic [CoLCl2] complex that, upon reduction, functions as active hydrosilylation catalyst. The ligand and the [CoLCl2] catalyst have been characterized spectroscopically (MS, NMR, FTIR) and by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The results of preliminary catalytic experimentation show that the cobalt complex can induce hydrosilylation and dehydrogenative silylation of olefins, depending upon the hydrosilane substrate used.
Electrochemical synthesis of 1,2-disilylethanes from α-silylacetic acids
Shtelman, Alex V.,Becker, James Y.
, p. 4710 - 4714 (2011/07/08)
The synthesis of 1,2-disilylethanes [R1R2R 3Si(CH2)2SiR1R2R 3] is usually conducted by using noble metal reagents or catalysts. This work describes a new electrochemical synthetic method for their preparation in good yields by oxidation of α-silylacetic acids at Pt anodes (Kolbe electrolysis). Most of the reported synthesized 1,2-disilylethanes in this work are unknown.
Organosilicon compound and process for producing organosilicon compound
-
, (2008/06/13)
An organosilicon compound having a Si--C--C--Si bond, a C=C--Si bond and/or a CH--CH--Si bond is prepared by reacting an olefin or a substituted olefin with a disilane in the presence of a platinum-containing catalyst. The resulting compound can be further treated with an alkyl lithium, an aryl lithium or a Grignard reagent.
Platinum Complex-catalysed Dehydrogenative Monosilylation of Alkenes with Disilanes
Hayashi, Teruyuki,Kawamoto, Aparecida M.,Kobayashi, Toshi-aki,Tanaka, Masato
, p. 563 - 564 (2007/10/02)
Alkenes react with disilanes in the presence of platinum phosphine complex catalysts to give alk-1-enylsilanes.
Reactivity of cis-Bis(dimethylphenylsilyl)bis(phosphine)platinum Complexes toward Unsaturated Compounds Relevant to Double Silylation
Kobayashi, Toshi-aki,Hayashi, Teruyuki,Yamashita, Hiroshi,Tanaka, Masato
, p. 467 - 470 (2007/10/02)
The reaction of phenylacetylene, tolane, or isoprene with cis-bis(dimethylphenylsilyl)bis(methyldiphenylphosphine)platinum readily took place to result in 1,2- or 1,4- double silylation, respectively.Ethylene also underwent double silylation with the platinum complex, but styrene selectively gave E-2-(dimethylphenylsilyl)styrene.
