Stereoselective Phosphonylation of Aldehydes via Chiral Phosphordiamidites. A Potentially Versatile Asymmetric Route to Organophosphorus Biomolecules
Sum, Vivienne,Kee, Terence P.,Thornton-Pett, Mark
, p. 743 - 744 (1994)
The novel, chiral phosphordiamidite, PN(SiMe3)2 containing deprotonated ephidrine has been shown to phosphonylate aldehydes readily to afford α-functionalised phosphonate esters with diastereoselectivities up to ca. 96percent.
N,3E>-Bifunctional Phosphorodiamidites and the Diastereoselective Phosphonylation of Aldehydes. Controlling, Elucidating and Rationalising the Stereochemical Course of the Asymmetric Abramov Reaction
Sum, Vivienne,Baird, Christopher A.,Kee, Terence P.,Thornton-Pett, Mark
, p. 3183 - 3200 (2007/10/02)
The novel, chiral phosphorodiamidite PN(SiMe3)2 2 has been prepared cleanly in both high chemical (83percent) and epimeric (>98percent) yields from the reaction of LiN(SiMe3)2 with PCl 1.The configuration at p
