Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 156152-89-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,6,1,5 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 156152-89:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*6)+(5*1)+(4*5)+(3*2)+(2*8)+(1*9)=135
135 % 10 = 5
So 156152-89-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 5361 - 5366 (2013)

A series of novel tri-2,3,5-substituted tetrahydropyran analogs were synthesized and evaluated as inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-4) for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Optimization of the series provided inhibitors with good DPP-4 potency and selectivity over other peptidases (QPP, DPP8, and FAP). Compound 23, which is very potent, selective, efficacious in the diabetes PD model, and has an excellent pharmacokinetic profile, is selected as a clinical candidate.

Synthesis of 1-substituted 3-nitroquinolin-4(1H)-ones

Radl,Chan

, p. 437 - 440 (2007/10/02)

A versatile synthetic method for preparing 1-substituted 3-nitroquinolin-4(1H)-ones from corresponding 2-fluoro-α-nitroacetophenones is demonstrated by the synthesis of 6,7-difluoro derivatives 7a-c. The method involves sequential treatment of the starting nitroacetophenone with triethyl orthoformate and the appropriate amine, followed by a nucleophilic cyclization reaction under mild conditions. The C-7 fluorine atom of 7 can be displaced by cyclic amines. Substituted 6-fluoro-7-(4-methy)-1-piperazinyl)-3-nitroquinolin-4(1H)-ones 8a-c were prepared in this way.
