Synthesis of Cyclo-bis-intercaland Receptor Molecules with Phenanthridinium Units

The cyclo-bis-intercaland type of receptor molecules based on phenanthridinium units have been synthesized and their spectroscopic (NMR, electronic absorption and fluorescence) properties studied. X-ray structures of two macrocyclic bis-phenanthridine pre
