Usage

General Description

5-Fluoro-2-methoxyphenylmagnesium bromide is an organometallic compound consisting of a magnesium atom bonded to a phenyl ring that is substituted with a methoxy group and a fluorine atom. It is commonly used as a reagent in organic synthesis, particularly in Grignard reactions to introduce the 5-fluoro-2-methoxyphenyl group into organic molecules.
