Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 191534-41-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,9,1,5,3 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 191534-41:
(8*1)+(7*9)+(6*1)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*1)=135
135 % 10 = 5
So 191534-41-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A synthetic route to borylene-bridged poly(ferrocenylene)s

Heilmann, Julia B.,Scheibitz, Matthias,Qin, Yang,Sundararaman, Anand,Jaekle, Frieder,Kretz, Tonia,Bolte, Michael,Lerner, Hans-Wolfram,Holthausen, Max C.,Wagner, Matthias

, p. 920 - 925 (2006)

Iron chains: The highly soluble, ferrocene-containing polymer [-fc-B(Mes)-]n (fc = Fe(C5H4)2, Mes = mesityl), with an average chain length of about 16 repeat units (n = 16), is readily accessible by a novel polycondensation reaction starting from fc(BBr2)2 and HSiEt3 (see scheme). The polymer contains three-coordinate boron centers, which are well-suited for the promotion of electron delocalization along the polymer chain. (Chemical Equation Presented).

Syntheses and anion binding capabilities of bis(diarylboryl) ferrocenes and related systems

Kelly, Michael J.,Broomsgrove, Alexander E.J.,Morgan, Ian R.,Siewert, Inke,Fitzpatrick, Philip,Smart, Jessica,Vidovic, Dragoslav,Aldridge, Simon

, p. 2674 - 2684 (2013/06/26)

Isomeric diborylated ferrocenes featuring 1,1′-, 1,2-, and 1,3-substitution patterns have been targeted via a combination of electrophilic aromatic substitution and directed ortho-lithiation protocols. While none of these systems are competent for the Lewis acid chelation of fluoride, related systems featuring a mixed B/Si acceptor set capture 1 equiv of fluoride via a Si-F-B bridging motif.
