Synthesis of Macrocyclic Bis(dithiocarbonic ester)s and Bis(thiocarbamate)s from Diethylene, Triethylene, and Tetraethylene Glycols
Fukada, Naoaki,Tanaka, Takashi,Fukuya, Tetsuo,Takeda, Yasuyuki
, p. 2515 - 2518 (1997)
The reaction of dipotassium bis(dithiocarbonate)s from diethylene, triethylene, and tetraethylene glycols with dibromoalkanes or ethereal oxygen-containing diiodides under high-dilution conditions gave 1:1 reaction products, 14-25-membered macrocyclic bis(dithiocarbonic ester)s. From dimethyl esters of the bis(dithiocarbonic acid)s and diamino-alkanes or ethereal oxygen-containing diamines, macrocyclic bis(thiocarbamate)s were obtained.
Synthesis and physical chemical properties of 2-amino-4-(trifluoromethoxy)butanoic acid-a CF3O-containing analogue of natural lipophilic amino acids

, p. 672 - 679 (2017/01/25)
2-Amino-2-(trifluoromethoxy)butanoic acid (O-trifluoromethyl homoserine) was synthesized as a racemate and in both enantiomeric forms. The measured pKa and log D values establish the compound as a promising analogue of natural aliphatic amino acids.

N,N-disubstituted 4-amino-piperidines of the general Formula (I) are inhibitors of the uptake of serotonin and/or norepinephrine and/or dopamine. As such, they may be useful for the treatment of disorders of the central and/or peripheral nervous system.
