4-(4-Aminophenylamino)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine was synthesized by alkylation of 4-aminotriacetoneamine with 4-chloronitrobenzene, followed by hydrogenation of the nitro derivative. Its reactions with acrylic, methacrylic, and itaconic acids were carried out.
