Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 21014-26-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,1,0,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 21014-26:
(7*2)+(6*1)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*6)=46
46 % 10 = 6
So 21014-26-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of α,β-unsaturated esters from dialkoxyphosphoryl esters and aldehydes in the ionic liquid [bmim][PF6]

Kryshtal, Galina V.,Zhdankina, Galina M.,Zlotin, Sergei G.

, p. 176 - 177 (2002)

α,β-Unsaturated esters were synthesised by LiOH·H2O-promoted reactions of triethyl phosphonoacetate 1 and triethyl 3-methyl-4-phosphono-2-butenoate 2 with aldehydes in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF6]).

Synthesis of All-Carbon Quaternary Centers by Palladium-Catalyzed Olefin Dicarbofunctionalization

Koy, Maximilian,Bellotti, Peter,Katzenburg, Felix,Daniliuc, Constantin G.,Glorius, Frank

supporting information, p. 2375 - 2379 (2020/01/24)

The redox-neutral dicarbofunctionalization of tri- and tetrasubstituted olefins to form a variety of (hetero)cyclic compounds under photoinduced palladium catalysis is described. This cascade reaction process was used to couple styrenes or acryl amides with a broad range of highly decorated olefins tethered to aryl or alkyl bromides (>50 examples). This procedure enables one or two contiguous all-carbon quaternary centers to be formed in a single step. The products could be readily diversified and applied in the synthesis of a bioactive oxindole analogue.

One-Pot Synthesis of α,β-Unsaturated Esters, Ketones, and Nitriles from Alcohols and Phosphonium Salts

Ding, Weijie,Hu, Juan,Jin, Huile,Yu, Xiaochun,Wang, Shun

, p. 107 - 118 (2017/09/28)

A general method for the synthesis of α,β-unsaturated esters, ketones, and nitriles is successfully achieved by a one-pot copper-catalyzed oxidation with O 2 in air as oxidant. The solvent mixture of acetonitrile and formamide (1:1) is optimized to ensure the oxidation of alcohols, deprotonation of phosphonium salt, and Wittig reaction occur efficiently in one pot. A broad range of substrates has been explored for this process, including three electron-withdrawing group (CO 2 Et, COPh, CN) functionalized phosphonium salts. They reacted not only with benzylic and heteroaromatic alcohols, but also with aliphatic alcohols, forming the corresponding α,β-unsaturated esters, ketones, and nitriles in moderate to excellent yields.

Facile synthesis of α, β-unsaturated esters through a one-pot copper-catalyzed aerobic oxidation-Wittig reaction

Ren, Cheng,Shi, Zhenyu,Ding, Weijie,Liu, Zhiqing,Jin, Huile,Yu, Xiaochun,Wang, Shun

supporting information, p. 14 - 17 (2017/12/06)

An efficient one-pot synthesis of α, β-unsaturated esters through the aerobic oxidation – Wittig tandem reaction of alcohols and phosphorous ylide is developed. This new method operates under mild reaction conditions, and uses CuI/TEMPO (TEMPO = 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-N-oxyl) as co-catalyst and air (O2) as the oxidant. It tolerates a wide range of functionalized benzylic alcohol and aliphatic alcohols.

Electrochemical intramolecular aminooxygenation of unactivated alkenes

Xu, Fan,Zhu, Lin,Zhu, Shaobin,Yan, Xiaomei,Xu, Hai-Chao

supporting information, p. 12740 - 12744 (2015/03/30)

An electrochemical approach to the intramolecular aminooxygenation of unactivated alkenes has been developed. This process is based on the addition of nitrogen-centered radicals, generated through electrochemical oxidation, to alkenes followed by trapping of the cyclized radical intermediate with 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-N-oxyl radical (TEMPO). Difunctionalization of a variety of alkenes with easily available carbamates/amides and TEMPO affords aminooxygenation products in high yields and with excellent trans selectivity for cyclic systems (d.r. up to>20:1). The approach provides a much-needed complementary route to existing cis-selective methods.
