Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 222620-05-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,2,2,6,2 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 222620-05:
(8*2)+(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*5)=85
85 % 10 = 5
So 222620-05-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Electrochemical synthesis and electrochromic application of a novel polymer based on carbazole

Kocaeren, Aysel Aydin

, p. 219 - 226 (2015)

The compound containing carbazole and thiophene, named as B1 was synthesized with 4-(9H-carbazol-9-yl) phenol and 3,4-dibromo thiophene. Additionally, the electrochemical polymer of B1 was synthesized and coated onto an ITO-glass surface via electrochemic

, p. 1221 - 1227 (2021/02/09)

Two novel host-σ-guest emitters based on a blue emissive thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) unit were designed and synthesized. By grafting 4TCzBN onto common host materials, these neat films (4TCzBN-o-PhCz and 4TCzBN-o-mCP) emit strong fluor

Photoinduced Hydroxylation of Organic Halides under Mild Conditions

Cai, Yue-Ming,Xu, Yu-Ting,Zhang, Xin,Gao, Wen-Xia,Huang, Xiao-Bo,Zhou, Yun-Bing,Liu, Miao-Chang,Wu, Hua-Yue

supporting information, p. 8479 - 8484 (2019/10/16)

Presented in this paper is photoinduced hydroxylation of organic halides, providing a mild access to a range of functionalized phenols and aliphatic alcohols. These reactions generally proceed under mild reaction conditions with no need for a photocatalyst or a strong base and show a wide substrate scope as well as excellent functional group tolerance. This work highlights the unique role of NaI that allows a challenging transformation to proceed under mild reaction conditions.

Synthesis of Phenols: Organophotoredox/Nickel Dual Catalytic Hydroxylation of Aryl Halides with Water

Yang, Liu,Huang, Zhiyan,Li, Gang,Zhang, Wei,Cao, Rui,Wang, Chao,Xiao, Jianliang,Xue, Dong

supporting information, p. 1968 - 1972 (2018/02/06)

A highly effective hydroxylation reaction of aryl halides with water under synergistic organophotoredox and nickel catalysis is reported. The OH group of the resulting phenols originates from water, following deprotonation facilitated by an intramolecular base group on the ligand. Significantly, aryl bromides as well as less reactive aryl chlorides served as effective substrates to afford phenols with a wide range of functional groups. Without the need for a strong inorganic base or an expensive noble-metal catalyst, this process can be applied to the efficient preparation of diverse phenols and enables the hydroxylation of multifunctional pharmaceutically relevant aryl halides.

Palladium-Catalyzed C-H Bond Activation by Using Iminoquinone as a Directing Group and an Internal Oxidant or a Co-oxidant: Production of Dihydrophenanthridines, Phenanthridines, and Carbazoles

Raju, Selvam,Annamalai, Pratheepkumar,Chen, Pei-Ling,Liu, Yi-Hung,Chuang, Shih-Ching

, p. 4134 - 4137 (2017/08/15)

A palladium-catalyzed C-H bond activation reaction, via a redox-neutral pathway, for the preparation of dihydrophenanthridine, phenanthridine, and carbazole derivatives from biaryl 2-iminoquinones is developed. The preinstalled iminoquinone was designed to act as a directing group for ortho C-H activation and an internal oxidant or a co-oxidant. This catalysis proceeded through the following sequence: C-H bond activation, coordination and insertion of activated olefins, β-hydride elimination, H-shift, insertion, and protonation or β-hydride elimination. In addition, carbazoles can be prepared efficiently by using this method without the addition of external oxidants.

Visible Light-Mediated Ullmann-Type C-N Coupling Reactions of Carbazole Derivatives and Aryl Iodides

Yoo, Woo-Jin,Tsukamoto, Tatsuhiro,Kobayashi, Shu

supporting information, p. 3640 - 3642 (2015/07/28)

The combined use of an iridium-based photocatalyst and a copper salt under blue light emitting diode irradiation enables the Ullmann-type C-N cross-coupling reaction between carbazole derivatives and aryl iodides to proceed under mild conditions.

Transition-Metal-Free Synthesis of Carbazoles and Indoles by an SNAr-Based "aromatic Metamorphosis" of Thiaarenes

Bhanuchandra,Murakami, Kei,Vasu, Dhananjayan,Yorimitsu, Hideki,Osuka, Atsuhiro

supporting information, p. 10234 - 10238 (2015/09/01)

Dibenzothiophene dioxides, which are readily prepared through oxidation of the parent dibenzothiophenes, undergo nucleophilic aromatic substitution with anilines intermolecularly and then intramolecularly to yield the corresponding carbazoles in a single operation. The "aromatic metamorphosis" of dibenzothiophenes into carbazoles does not require any heavy metals. This strategy is also applicable to the synthesis of indoles. Since electron-deficient thiaarene dioxides exhibit interesting reactivity, which is not observed for that the corresponding electron-rich azaarenes, a combination of a thiaarene-dioxide-specific reaction with the SNAr-based aromatic metamorphosis allows transition-metal-free construction of difficult-to-prepare carbazoles.

Efficient synthesis of biscarbazoles by palladium-catalyzed twofold C-N coupling and C-H activation reactions

Hung, Tran Quang,Thang, Ngo Ngoc,Hoang, Do Huy,Dang, Tuan Thanh,Villinger, Alexander,Langer, Peter

supporting information, p. 2596 - 2605 (2014/04/17)

A new and efficient strategy for the synthesis of 3,9′- and 2,9′-biscarbazoles was developed. Our strategy relies on the cyclization of 1,1′-biphenyl-2,2′-diyl bis(trifluoromethanesulfonate) with 4- or 3-anisidine, transformation of the methoxy to a triflate group and subsequent oxidative Pd-catalyzed cyclization with various anilines.
