The arylsulfonylimination of the sodium salts of diethoxycarbonylmethyl aryl sulfides by the sodiochloroamides of sulfonic acids leads to the sodium salts of N-arylsulfonyl-S-(diethoxycarbonylmethyl)-S-aryl-sulfimides.N-Arylsulfonyl-S-(1,1-diethoxycarbonylethyl)-S-arylsulfimides can be obtained by their methylation.
