Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 23917-96-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,3,9,1 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 23917-96:
(7*2)+(6*3)+(5*9)+(4*1)+(3*7)+(2*9)+(1*6)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 23917-96-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Fluorinated diarylamide complexes of uranium(iii, iv) incorporating ancillary fluorine-to-uranium dative interactions

Yin, Haolin,Lewis, Andrew J.,Williams, Ursula J.,Carroll, Patrick J.,Schelter, Eric J.

, p. 798 - 805 (2013)

The fluorinated diarylamines HNPhPhF, HNPhF 2, HNPhArF, PhF = 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorophenyl, ArF = 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl, are used to prepare complexes of uranium(iii, iv) ions. Despite being electron-poor amines with little steric bulk, their coordinated amide ligands exhibit direct control over the coordination environment through a subtle, cooperative interplay of multiple labile F→U dative interactions and favorable arene-arene interactions. The C-F→U interactions, ~8.9 kcal mol-1 as determined by variable temperature NMR experiments, persist in solution and allow the isolation of otherwise unstable species as well as the first pseudo-square planar uranium complex. Preparation method and medical application of benzisothiazole and benzothiophene

-

Paragraph 0098-0101, (2021/08/19)

The invention discloses a preparation method and medical application of benzisothiazole and benzothiophene, and telates to the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. According to the invention, benzisothiazole and benzothiophene are the first type of HIF-2 agonists; compared with a compound M1001 found by the applicant in the earlier stage, the invention has better HIF-2 agonist activity, and has remarkable enhancement activity on expression of mRNA and protein of EPO, VGEF, Glut1, NDRG1 and the like at the downstream of HIF-2, so that the invention can be used for preparing drugs for treating and/or preventing chronic kidney diseases/chronic renal anemia, dyslipidemia and high cholesterol caused by abnormal expression of HIF-2; and the method has a good industrialization prospect.

Mediator-Enabled Electrocatalysis with Ligandless Copper for Anaerobic Chan-Lam Coupling Reactions

Walker, Benjamin R.,Manabe, Shuhei,Brusoe, Andrew T.,Sevov, Christo S.

supporting information, p. 6257 - 6265 (2021/05/07)

Simple copper salts serve as catalysts to effect C-X bond-forming reactions in some of the most utilized transformations in synthesis, including the oxidative coupling of aryl boronic acids and amines. However, these Chan-Lam coupling reactions have historically relied on chemical oxidants that limit their applicability beyond small-scale synthesis. Despite the success of replacing strong chemical oxidants with electrochemistry for a variety of metal-catalyzed processes, electrooxidative reactions with ligandless copper catalysts are plagued by slow electron-transfer kinetics, irreversible copper plating, and competitive substrate oxidation. Herein, we report the implementation of substoichiometric quantities of redox mediators to address limitations to Cu-catalyzed electrosynthesis. Mechanistic studies reveal that mediators serve multiple roles by (i) rapidly oxidizing low-valent Cu intermediates, (ii) stripping Cu metal from the cathode to regenerate the catalyst and reveal the active Pt surface for proton reduction, and (iii) providing anodic overcharge protection to prevent substrate oxidation. This strategy is applied to Chan-Lam coupling of aryl-, heteroaryl-, and alkylamines with arylboronic acids in the absence of chemical oxidants. Couplings under these electrochemical conditions occur with higher yields and shorter reaction times than conventional reactions in air and provide complementary substrate reactivity.

PEt3-mediated deoxygenative C–N coupling of nitroarenes and boronic acids

Nykaza, Trevor V.,Yang, Junyu,Radosevich, Alexander T.

supporting information, p. 3248 - 3252 (2019/04/25)

A method for the preparation of aryl- and heteroarylamine products by triethylphosphine-mediated deoxygenative coupling of nitroarenes and boronic acids is reported. This method provides access to an array of functionalized (hetero)arylamine products from readily available starting materials under the action of an inexpensive commercial reagent. The developed triethylphosphine-mediated transformation highlights the capability of organophosphorus compounds to carry out this useful deoxygenative transformation without the necessity of any transition metal additives.

Diastereoselective Allylation of Aldehydes by Dual Photoredox and Chromium Catalysis

Schwarz, J. Luca,Sch?fers, Felix,Tlahuext-Aca, Adrian,Lückemeier, Lukas,Glorius, Frank

supporting information, p. 12705 - 12709 (2018/10/09)

Herein, we report the redox-neutral allylation of aldehydes with readily available electron-rich allyl (hetero-) arenes, β-alkyl styrenes and allyl-diarylamines. This process was enabled by the combination of photoredox and chromium catalysis, which allowed a range of homoallylic alcohols to be prepared with high levels of selectivity for the anti diastereomer. Mechanistic investigations support the formation of an allyl chromium intermediate from allylic C(sp3)-H bonds and thus significantly extends the scope of the venerable Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi reaction.

Copper(I)-USY as a Ligand-Free and Recyclable Catalyst for Ullmann-Type O-, N-, S-, and C-Arylation Reactions: Scope and Application to Total Synthesis

Garnier, Tony,Danel, Mathieu,Magné, Valentin,Pujol, Anthony,Bénéteau, Valérie,Pale, Patrick,Chassaing, Stefan

, p. 6408 - 6422 (2018/05/31)

The copper(I)-doped zeolite CuI-USY proved to be a versatile, efficient, and recyclable catalyst for various Ullmann-type coupling reactions. Easy to prepare and cheap, this catalytic material enables the arylation and heteroarylation of diverse O-, N-, S-, and C-nucleophiles under ligand-free conditions while exhibiting large functional group compatibility. The facility of this catalyst to promote C-O bond formation was further demonstrated with the total synthesis of 3-methylobovatol, a naturally occurring diaryl ether of biological relevance. From a mechanistic viewpoint, two competitive pathways depending on the nature of the nucleophile and consistent with the obtained results have been proposed.

Solvent-Free Buchwald-Hartwig (Hetero)arylation of Anilines, Diarylamines, and Dialkylamines Mediated by Expanded-Ring N-Heterocyclic Carbene Palladium Complexes

Topchiy, Maxim A.,Dzhevakov, Pavel B.,Rubina, Margarita S.,Morozov, Oleg S.,Asachenko, Andrey F.,Nechaev, Mikhail S.

supporting information, p. 1908 - 1914 (2016/04/20)

A highly efficient solvent-free protocol for the Buchwald-Hartwig (hetero)arylation of anilines, diarylamines, and dialkylamines mediated by the expanded-ring N-heterocyclic carbene palladium complex (THP-Dipp)Pd(cinn)Cl [THP-Dipp = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidin-2-ylidene; cinn = cinnamyl, 3-phenylallyl] was developed. The catalytic protocol was efficient for the coupling of amines and (hetero)aryl chlorides and bromides bearing donor, acceptor, and bulky substituents.
