Liu, Honglei,Yuan, Chunhao,Wu, Yang,Xiao, Yumei,Guo, Hongchao
supporting information, p. 4220 - 4223 (2015/09/15)
The Sc(OTf)3-catalyzed diastereoselective [3 + 3] cycloaddition of phthalazinium dicyanomethanides with cyclopropane 1,1-diesters proceeded smoothly under mild reaction conditions, affording a variety of 3,4-dihydro-1H-pyrido[2,1-a]phthalazine derivatives in up to 99% yields with excellent diastereoselectivities.
Cycloadditions of siloxy alkynes with 1,2-diazines: From reaction discovery to identification of an antiglycolytic chemotype

supporting information, p. 13576 - 13579 (2014/01/06)
Cycloaddition uncovered: The title reaction produces novel polycyclic compounds with high efficiency and excellent diastereoselectivity under mild reaction conditions. A small-molecule library, synthesized using this reaction, yielded a novel chemotype which inhibited glycolytic ATP production by blocking glucose uptake in CHO-K1 cells. Silver-catalyzed formal inverse electron-demand diels-alder reaction of 1,2-diazines and siloxy alkynes
Tuerkmen, Yunus E.,Montavon, Timothy J.,Kozmin, Sergey A.,Rawal, Viresh H.
supporting information; experimental part, p. 9062 - 9065 (2012/07/14)
A highly effective silver-catalyzed formal inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction of 1,2-diazines and siloxy alkynes has been developed. The reactions provide ready access to a wide range of siloxy naphthalenes and anthracenes, which are formed in good to high yields, under mild reaction conditions, using low catalyst loadings.
Oxidation of aromatic 1,2-dimethanols by activated dimethyl sulfoxide
Farooq
, p. 1035 - 1036 (2007/10/02)
A series of substituted ortho-phthalaldehydes were prepared under mild conditions in respectable yields by oxidation of the corresponding dimethanols using oxalyl chloride activated dimethyl sulfoxide.
