Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 26962-29-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,6,9,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 26962-29:
(7*2)+(6*6)+(5*9)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*2)+(1*9)=138
138 % 10 = 8
So 26962-29-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
