Synthetic method of alkyl salicylic acid

A synthetic method of alkyl salicylic acid comprises the following steps: brominated alkanes used as a raw material reacts with lithium metal in a solvent, namely ether to obtain lithium alkyl; the lithium alkyl reacts with cuprous iodide in ether to generate lithium dialkylcuprate; and the lithium dialkylcuprate and bromosalicylic acid are mixed and coupling is carried out to obtain alkyl salicylic acid.
