Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 29272-68-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,9,2,7 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 29272-68:
(7*2)+(6*9)+(5*2)+(4*7)+(3*2)+(2*6)+(1*8)=132
132 % 10 = 2
So 29272-68-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Cobalt-Catalyzed Allylation of Amides with Styrenes Using DMSO as Both the Solvent and the α-Methylene Source

Zhang, Xu,Zhou, Zhi,Xu, Huiying,Xu, Xuefeng,Yu, Xiyong,Yi, Wei

supporting information, p. 7248 - 7253 (2019/10/08)

An efficient synthesis of privileged allylic amines has been developed via cobalt-catalyzed allylation of amides with styrenes, in which DMSO was used as both the solvent and the α-methylene source. This transformation features high yields, and selectivity for the (E)-isomer of the linear product. Through the experimental and computational investigations, a sequential K2S2O8-mediated oxidative coupling/cobalt-assisted regioselective alkene insertion/β-H elimination/alkene dissociation/hydride transfer process has also been deduced.

Organocatalytic Synthesis of Oxazolines and Dihydrooxazines from Allyl-Amides: Bypassing the Inherent Regioselectivity of the Cyclization

Theodorou, Alexis,Triandafillidi, Ierasia,Kokotos, Christoforos G.

supporting information, p. 951 - 957 (2018/01/22)

A selective and efficient methodology for the construction of either oxazolines or dihydrooxazines from the corresponding allyl-amides is reported. Bypassing the inherent selectivity of the cyclization and depending on the substitution pattern of the substrate, a selective epoxidation-cyclization was developed leading to either the five-membered or the six-membered ring, upon simple and complementary reaction conditions. The cyclization products were obtained in good to excellent yields and high selectivities. (Figure presented.).

Substrate-directable heck reactions with arenediazonium salts. The regio- and stereoselective arylation of allylamine derivatives and applications in the synthesis of naftifine and abamines

Prediger, Patricia,Barbosa, Lais Ferreira,Genisson, Yves,Correia, Carlos Roque Duarte

, p. 7737 - 7749 (2011/12/01)

The palladium-catalyzed, substrate-directable Heck-Matsuda reaction of allylamine derivatives with arenediazonium salts is reported. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions, with excellent regio- and stereochemical control as a function of coordinating groups present in the allylamine substrate. The distance between the olefin moiety and the car-bonylic system seems to play a key role regarding the regiocontrol. The method presents itself as robust, as simple to carry out, and with wide synthetic scope concerning the allylic substrates and the type of arenediazonium employed. The synthetic potential of the method is illustrated by the short total syntheses of the bioactive compounds naftifine, abamine, and abamine SG.
