General Description

2-Amino-1,3-benzenediol, also known as o-Amino-phenol, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H7NO2. It is a derivative of phenol and aniline, and is commonly used in the production of pharmaceuticals, dyes, and photographic developers. This chemical is an aromatic amine and dihydroxy benzene, and it exists as a white to light brown powder. 2-Amino-1,3-benzenediol has been studied for its potential antioxidant properties, as well as its role in the synthesis of various important compounds in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
