Synthesis of monoorganotins and use as versatile reagents for organic synthesis
Fouquet, Eric,Pereyre, Michel,Rodriguez, Alain L.,Roulet, Thomas
, p. 959 - 968 (2007/10/03)
The direct and quantitative preparation of monoorganotins 2, 3, 4 and 11 starting from Lappert's stannylene 1 represents a general access to a new class of organotin reagents.Their reactivity and versatility in the field of organic synthesis is highlighted. The influence of the substituents bound to the tin atom is shown for various reactions such as nucleophilic addition onto carbonyl compounds, radical transfer of functionalized moieties and coupling reactions catalysed by transition metals. - Keywords: stannylene; monoorganotin; radical allylic transfer; palladium
Preparation des organozinciques derives de l'α-bromomethyl acrylate d'ethyle et de ses homologues

, p. 1 - 10 (2007/10/02)
The preparation of the bromozinc derivatives of various α-bromoalkyl acrylates (aliphatic and alicyclic) results in high yields when carried out on 30 mesh activated granular zinc, between 14 and 20 deg C in ethereal solvents (THF, DME, ether).Under these conditions duplication can be minimized (5-15 percent) especially with t-butyl acrylates. These α-functional allylic orgazinc derivatives have been characterized by hydrolysis and coupling with benzaldehyde.
Reactivite de l'organozincique derive de l'α-bromomethyl acrylate d'ethyle

The organozinc derivative (2a) of ethyl α-bromomethyl acrylate is not nucleophilic towards haloalkanes but can be alkylated with chlorotrimethylsilane. 2a is unreactive towards carbon-oxygen single bonds and is unsuitable for conjugate addition (α-enones and α,β-ethylenic esters). Its acylation can be carried out in DME in the presence of palladium(0) catalyst.Reactions with carbon-oxygen and and carbon-nitrogen double bonds permit the preparation of α-methylene γ-butyrolactones and lactams without the formation of side-products.This route is especially suitable for reactions with substrates such as imines that are both nucle ophilic and electrophilic.
