Palladium-catalyzed carbonylative synthesis of quinazolinones from 2-aminobenzamide and aryl bromides
Wu, Xiao-Feng,He, Lin,Neumann, Helfried,Beller, Matthias
, p. 12635 - 12638 (2013)
C from CO! A straightforward procedure for the carbonylative synthesis of quinazolinones from readily available 2-aminobenzamide and aryl bromides has been developed. In the presence of a palladium catalyst, various quinazolinones were produced in moderate to excellent yields. Remarkably, no chromatography was needed for purification (see scheme). Copyright
A Versatile Synthesis of 2-Aryl-3,4-dihydro-4-oxobenzofuropyrimidines
Reddy, B. Saida,Reddy, A. Panduranga,Veeranagaiah, V.
, p. 581 - 582 (2007/10/02)
Reaction of 3-aminobenzofuran-2-carboxamide (1) with aromatic aldehydes (2) in acetic acid results in 3-N-(arylideneamino)benzofuran-2-carboxamides (3) and 2-aryl-3,4-dihydro-4-oxobenzofuropyrimidines (4) at steam-bath temperature.The reaction at r
Sur les possibilites de formation de pyrimidines a partir d'halogeno-3 methoxy-4 coumarines
Takagi, Kaname,Hubert-Habart, Michel
, p. 444 - 448 (2007/10/02)
3-chloro and 3-bromo-4-methoxycoumarins are tranformed by guanidine into 2-amino-5-halo-6-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidines.However, by treatment with benzamidine and acetamidine they lead, not only to the expected pyrimidines, but also to th
