Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 39106-79-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,9,1,0 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 39106-79:
(7*3)+(6*9)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*6)+(2*7)+(1*9)=121
121 % 10 = 1
So 39106-79-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

2,4-Pyrimidinediamine Compounds and Their Uses

-

Paragraph 1022, (2015/11/10)

The present invention provides 2,4-pyrimidinediamine compounds that inhibit the IgE and/or IgG receptor signaling cascades that lead to the release of chemical mediators, intermediates and methods of synthesizing the compounds and methods of using the compounds in a variety of contexts, including in the treatment and prevention of diseases characterized by, caused by or associated with the release of chemical mediators via degranulation and other processes effected by activation of the IgE and/or IgG receptor signaling cascades.

PRODRUGS OF OPIOIDS AND USES THEREOF

-

Page/Page column 61, (2011/08/08)

The present invention concerns prodrugs of opioid analgesics and pharmaceutical compositions containing such prodrugs. Methods for providing more consistent pain relief by increasing the bioavailability of the opioid analgesic with the aforementioned prodrugs are provided. The invention also provides for decreasing the adverse GI side effects of opioid analgesics.

Radiohalogenated benzamide derivatives and their use in tumor diagnosis and tumor therapy

-

Page/Page column 11, (2008/06/13)

This invention relates to new radiohalogenated benzamide derivatives and their use in tumor diagnosis and tumor therapy. The radiohalogenated benzamide derivatives according to the invention exhibit novel and especially advantageous properties, in particular with respect to tumor concentration and retardation, liver concentration and blood accumulation. The radiation-therapy doses to be achieved in the tumor, compared to healthy body tissue, are advantageous for the compounds according to the invention.

3-CARBOXAMIDE DERIVATIVES OF 5H-PYRROLO[2,1-c][1,4]-BENZODIAZEPINES

-

Page/Page column 24, (2008/06/13)

This invention relates to tricyclic non-peptide vasopressin antagonists which are useful in treating conditions where decreased vasopressin levels are desired, such as in congestive heart failure, in disease conditions with excess renal water reabsorption and in conditions with increased vascular resistance and coronary vasoconstriction, the compounds having general structure (I).

Substituent effects on the kinetics of reductively-initiated fragmentation of nitrobenzyl carbamates designed as triggers for bioreductive prodrugs

Hay, Michael P.,Sykes, Bridget M.,Denny, William A.,O'Connor, Charmian J.

, p. 2759 - 2770 (2007/10/03)

4-Nitrobenzyl carbamates are of interest as triggers for bioreductive drugs, particularly in conjunction with the E. coli B nitroreductase, which efficiently reduces them to the corresponding hydroxylamines. These then fragment to release highly toxic amine-based toxins. While many 4-nitrobenzyl carbamate derivatives have been evaluated as bioreductive drugs, there has been no systematic study of substituent effects on the rate of this fragmentation (which should be as fast as possible following reduction). We therefore prepared a series of 2-, 3- and α-substituted 4-[N-methyl-N-(4-nitrobenzyloxycarbonyl)amino]phenylacetamides as model compounds to study these effects. The majority of the carbamates were prepared by in situ formation of the chloroformate of the appropriate 4-nitrobenzyl alcohol and reaction with methyl 4-(methylamino)phenylacetate, followed by ester hydrolysis and 1,1′-carbonyl-diimidazole (CDI) mediated coupling with N,N-dimethylaminoethylamine. The hydroxylamines were generated by 60Co γ-ray irradiation of the nitro compounds in aqueous phosphate-buffered-propan-2-ol. The reactions were analysed by reverse-phase HPLC to determine the maximum half-life (Mt1/2) of the hydroxylamines generated, and the extent of release of amine from these after 10 half-lives (t∞). The parent (unsubstituted) hydroxylaminobenzyl carbamate had a Mt1/2 of 16 min under these conditions, while that of the corresponding α-methyl analogue was 9.5 min. Electron-donating substituents on the benzyl ring also accelerated fragmentation, with the data being fitted to the equation log(Mt1/2) = 0.57σ + 1.30, where σ represents σp for 2-substituents and σm for 3-substituents. The acceleration of fragmentation of the hydroxylamines with increasing substituent electron-donation is consistent with the proposed mechanism, and is presumably due to stabilisation of the developing positive charge on the benzylic carbon. The extent of release of amine (t∞) also increased with increasing substituent electron-donation. These data suggest that the standard 4-nitrobenzyl carbamate trigger for nitroreductase enzyme (NTR) prodrugs can likely be improved on, by increasing the rate of fragmentation by the use of α-methyl and/or electron-donating benzyl substituents.
