, p. 12892 - 12896 (2013)
Dipolar cycloaddition: A highly efficient copper(I)-catalyzed enantioselective [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of 1,3-fused cyclic azomethine ylides and nitroalkenes has been developed. This method provides access to functionalized tropane scaffolds with several quaternary and tertiary stereocenters in a single step under mild reaction conditions. Copyright
Ir(iii)-Catalysed electrooxidative intramolecular dehydrogenative C-H/N-H coupling for the synthesis of N-H indoles
Chang, Sukbok,Kim, Dongwook,Kim, Youyoung
, p. 12309 - 12312 (2021/12/07)
Herein, an iridium(iii)-catalysed electrooxidative intramolecular dehydrogenative C-H/N-H coupling of unprotected 2-alkenyl anilines is described. The developed method allows the synthesis of a variety of 3-substituted N-H indole scaffolds under undivided electrolytic conditions. Mechanistic studies suggest that the reaction proceeds through the electro-oxidation induced reductive elimination pathway.
Enantioselective Synthesis of Fused Polycyclic Tropanes via Dearomative [3 + 2] Cycloaddition Reactions of 2-Nitrobenzofurans
Wang, Zhen,Wang, Dong-Chao,Xie, Ming-Sheng,Qu, Gui-Rong,Guo, Hai-Ming
supporting information, p. 164 - 167 (2020/01/11)
A straight synthetic approach to fused polycyclic tropane scaffold formation through an asymmetric dearomatization cycloaddition process of 2-nitrobenzofurans with cyclic azomethine ylides was successfully developed. In the presence of a chiral copper com
Resolution of N-protected amino acid esters using whole cells of Candida parapsilosis ATCC 7330
Stella, Selvaraj,Chadha, Anju
experimental part, p. 457 - 460 (2010/06/21)
Whole cells of Candida parapsilosis ATCC 7330 were used for the resolution of N-acetyl amino acid esters. Excellent enantioselectivities (E = 40 to >500) were achieved for the resolution of N-protected protein and non-protein amino acid esters giving good yields (28-50%) and high enantiomeric excesses (up to >99%) for both enantiomers.
ANTI-ODOR COMPOSITIONS AND THERAPEUTIC USE
-
, (2008/06/13)
This application discloses a composition comprising a malodor compound and an anti-odor ingredient effective for reducing the presence or production of malodor. The composition may be topically applied to a subject and is useful for cosmetic conditions, pharmaceutical indications, or other objectives.
A novel approach to Bz-substituted tryptophans via Pd-catalysed coupling/annulation
Jeschke,Wensbo,Annby,Gronowitz,Cohen
, p. 6471 - 6474 (2007/10/02)
The Pd-catalysed preparation of bz-substituted tryptophans and their derivatives, starting from 2-iodoanilines and γ,δ-acetylenic amino acid derivatives, is reported.
AN EFFECTIVE DEHYDROGENATIONS OF INDOLINES TO INDOLES WITH COBALT(II) SCHIFF'S BASE COMPLEXES
Inada, Akira,Nakamura, Yushin,Morita, Yutaka
, p. 1287 - 1290 (2007/10/02)
Facile dehydrogenations of indolines to indoles were performed with the catalytic amount of bis(salicylidene)ethylenediaminatocobalt(II) and bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)ethylenediaminatocobalt(II) under mild conditions in 55-92percent yields.
