Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 50358-40-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,0,3,5 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 50358-40:
(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*8)+(2*4)+(1*0)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 50358-40-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
