Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 5249-19-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,2,4 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5249-19:
(6*5)+(5*2)+(4*4)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*9)=94
94 % 10 = 4
So 5249-19-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The stability constants of the chelates of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), UO2(2+) and VO(2+) with o-(N-α-pyrrolidimino)propanoic acid (H2PP) and o-(N-α-pyrrolidimino)benzoic acid (H2PB) have been determined potentiometrically using Calvin's extension of Bjerrum's method in aqueous medium (μ = 0.1, 0.05 and 0.01 M NaClO4) at 25 deg C, 35 deg C and 45 deg C, respectively. The thermodynamic parameters (ΔG0, ΔH0 and ΔS0) have also been evaluated.Metal chelates have been isolated in the solid state also and characterised on the basis of elemental analyses, magnetic, UV and IR spectral, molar conductance and thermal studies.
