Palladium-catalyzed C-H activation followed by intramolecular amination reaction of enamine compounds was achieved using a Pd(OAc)2 (10 mol%)/Cu(OAc)2 (100 mol%) catalyst system in DMSO. This work introduces an entirely new approach to 3-substituted indoles. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.

The major excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, (S)-glutamic acid , activates both ionotropic and metabotropic excitatory amino acid receptors. Its importance in connection to neurological and psychiatric disorders has directed great
