PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which a high-purity phosphate diester salt which substantially contains no impurities can be obtained in high yield.SOLUTION: The production method for the phosphate diester salt is characterized in that a phosphate triester (A) represented by formula (1): (R-O)(R-O)(R-O)P=O (wherein R-Rmay be the same or different 1-20C hydrocarbon groups, and two or more groups of R-Rmay bind to each other to form a cyclic structure) and a secondary amine (B) represented by (R)(R)NH (wherein R-Rmay be the same or different 1-20C hydrocarbon groups, and Rand Rmay bind to each other to form a cyclic structure) are reacted in the absence of water.
