A series of heterocyclic phosphine imines (1,3,5-triazines, pyrazines, pyridines, furazans and furoxans) have been readily prepared by direct action of N-trimethylsilyl-P,P,P-triphenylphosphine imine on chloro- or nitro derivatives.
