Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 5980-89-2 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,9,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5980-89:
(6*5)+(5*9)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*8)+(1*9)=132
132 % 10 = 2
So 5980-89-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

IN VIVO STABLE HG-197(M) COMPOUNDS, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF AND USE THEREOF IN NUCLEAR MEDICAL DIAGNOSTICS AND ENDORADIONUCLIDE THERAPY (THERANOSTICS)

-

Page/Page column 27, (2018/09/08)

The present invention relates to in vivo stable 197(m)Hg compounds according to formula (I) for use in nuclear medical diagnostics and endoradionuclide therapy (theranostics), particularly the treatment of cancer, a method for the production of the 197(m)Hg compounds comprising the step of radiolabeling of organic precursor compounds with NCA 197(m)Hg by electrophilic substitution; and the use of the 197(m)Hg compounds for nuclear medical diagnostics and endoradionuclide therapy (theranostics), particularly the treatment of cancer.

STUDIES OF HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS. III. SYNTHESIS AND THERMAL DECOMPOSITIONS OF SOME 2-THIOPHENEMERCURIC DERIVATIVES

Obafemi, Craig A.

, p. 1 - 7 (2007/10/02)

2-Thiophenemercuric chloride(I), on reaction with sodium or silver thiocyanate, silver azide, silver acetate, and silver trifluoromethanesulfonate gave the 2-thiocyanate (2), 2-azide (4), 2-acetate (5) and 2-trifluoromethanesulfonate (6), respectively. The thermal decompositions of these compounds, together with that of 2,2'-dithienyl mercury, have been studied. The 2-thiophenemercuric triflate (6) decomposes at room temperature to give 2,2'-dithienylmercury.The 2-azide (4), when treated with either cyclohexene or triphenylphosphine, gave only the 2,2'-dithienylmercury.All the 2-thiophenemercuric salts decompose at about 300 deg C to give only a black insoluble residue. With the aid of some control experiments and comparison with previous work on phenyl- and p-tolyl-mercuric salts, a mechanism is proposed to account for the results.
