Trifluoromethylselenylthiocarbonyls form with CF33-nClnSCl or CF3SeCl the corresponding disulfanes or selanesulfanes.Oxidation of CF3SeC(S)X, X = CF3Se, CF3S, Cl, or Br, with 3-Cl-C6H4C(O)OOH yields compounds CF3Se(X)C=S=O.Only decomposition products are obtained from (CF3Se)2CSe and Cl2, CF3SeCl, CF3SCl, or 3-Cl-C6H4C(O)OOH.The preparation of compounds RN=Se=NR, R = (CH3)3Si, CF3C(O), or CF3SO2, is described.Physical and spectroscopical data of the new substances are provided. - Keywords: Synthesis, Thiocarbonyl, Selenocarbonyl, Selenodiimine

In the reaction of selenyl fluoride or chloride with N,N-bis(trimethylsilyl)sulfonamides N,N'-diacylselenium diimides (RSO2N=)2Se were obtained.Selenium diimides are also formed in the reaction of difluoroselenimides RSO2N=SeF2 with hexamethyldisiloxane. The difluoroselenimides were obtained by the reactions of selenium tetrafluoride with disilylated amides in a molar ratio of 1:1.
