Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 63449-80-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,3,4,4 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 63449-80:
(7*6)+(6*3)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*9)+(2*8)+(1*0)=139
139 % 10 = 9
So 63449-80-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Convenient preparation of long-chain dialkyl phosphates: Synthesis of dialkyl phosphates

Aitken, R. Alan,Collett, Chris J.,Mesher, Shaun T. E.

experimental part, p. 2515 - 2518 (2012/09/05)

Reaction of phosphorus oxychloride with a primary alcohol (1.8 equiv) and triethylamine (1.8 equiv) in toluene, followed by filtration and treatment with steam, gives dialkyl phosphates in good yield and essentially free from trialkyl phosphate contamination. Enantioselective synthesis of trans-aryl-and-heteroaryl-substituted cyclopropylboronates by copper (I)-catalyzed reactions of allylic phosphates with a diboron derivative

Zhong, Chongmin,Kunii, Shun,Kosaka, Yuki,Sawamura, Masaya,Ito, Hajime

supporting information; experimental part, p. 11440 - 11442 (2010/10/04)

A new asymmetric route for the synthesis of trans-2-aryl- and -heteroaryl-substituted cyclopropylboronates has been developed. (Z)-3-arylallylic phosphates were converted to the optically active products with high yield and diastereo- and enantioselectivity through a copper(I)-catalyzed reaction with a diboron derivative. Under mild reaction conditions, the reaction affords the arylcyclopropane products with a functional group and a heteroaromatic group in a highly enantioselective manner. When (E)-allylic phosphates were used as substrates, a ligand-controlled product switch between the trans and cis configurations was observed.
