4-((4-amino-2,5-dimethylphenyl)(phenyl)methyl)-2,5-dimethylbenzenamine, is an intermediate for the synthesis of 4,4'-[(Phenylmethylene)bis[(2,5-dimethyl-4,1-phenylene)-2,1-diazenediyl]]bis[3-hydroxy-N-phenyl-2-naphthalenecarboxamide (P335910), used for the preparation of paper strips containing indicator dyes.
