3-Bromo-6-methylpyridazine is used as a reagent for the synthesis of piperazinyl quinolines, which serve as chemosensitizers to increase the susceptibility of Candida albicans to fluconazole. This application aids in the development of more effective antifungal treatments.
Used in Central Nervous System (CNS) Therapeutics:
3-Bromo-6-methylpyridazine is also utilized in the preparation of cyclohexyl fluoropyrimidinyl benzamides, which are CNS penetrable P2X7 receptor antagonists.
