Asymmetric syntheses of neurokinin substance P receptor antagonists (+)-CP-99,994 and (+)-L-733,060 have been accomplished starting from enantiomerically pure (3S,4S)-4-(tert-butylcarbamoyl)-4-phenyl-1-buten-3-ol. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.

, p. 2374 - 2376 (2007/10/03)
A wide range of 4-(N-Boc-amino)-1-alken-3-ols were efficiently resolved by lipase-catalyzed kinetic resolution. This procedure has been successfully applied to the highly enantioselective synthesis of the taxol side chain.
