Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 67294-81-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,7,2,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 67294-81:
(7*6)+(6*7)+(5*2)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*8)+(1*1)=159
159 % 10 = 9
So 67294-81-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Bis - (methylsulfonylmethyl) sulfone, BMSMS, was synthesized and characterized through vibrational (IR, Raman) spectroscopy. The crystal structure of BMSMS, determined by X-ray diffraction methods, together with Hirshfeld surfaces analysis were used to evaluate intermolecular interactions. BMSMS can be considered as one-turn helix of about 7.13 ?, further stabilized by weak intra-molecular CH???O bonds. The experimental results were supplemented by quantum chemical calculations. It was also analyzed the hyperconjugative effects of oxygen atoms lone pairs (LP) on the vibrational behavior of the SO2 group. Besides, biofilm formation and QS activity were evaluated on this new bis- (methylsulfonylmethyl) sulfone.
