, p. 22652 - 22658 (2021)
Microbial adhesion to host cells represents the initial step in the infection process. Several methods have been explored to inhibit microbial adhesion including the use of glycopolymers based on mannose, galactose, sialic acid and glucose. These sugar re
Synthesis of leptosin, a glycoside isolated from mānuka honey

supporting information, p. 6916 - 6919 (2019/04/10)
The first synthesis of leptosin, a novel glycoside isolated from mānuka honey is described. Utilising an acetyl protecting group strategy the glycoside was obtained with excellent anomeric selectivity by deploying a Schmidt glycosylation as a key step.
SYNTHESIS OF CYTIDINE DIPHOSPHATE-D-QUINOVOSE
Liu, Li-da,Liu, Hung-wen
, p. 35 - 38 (2007/10/02)
The title molecule, cytidine-D-quinovose (CDP-6-deoxy-D-glucose) 1, was synthesized by two different methods from the key intermediate quinovose-1-phosphate 7 which was prepared from glucose.
