Palladium(0)-catalyzed cross-couplings of 2-bromophosphinine
Kostenko, Nataliya,Ericsson, Cecilia,Engqvist, Magnus,Gonzalez, Susana Villa,Bayer, Annette
, p. 4756 - 4759 (2013/08/23)
A new Negishi-type cross-coupling of 2-bromophosphinine has been developed. The new method expands the scope of palladium-catalyzed couplings to monobromophosphinines, which have been considered as poor substrates so far. Moreover, aryl-, alkenyl-, and alkynylzinc bromides were found to be effective coupling partners. Copyright

The synthesis of 2-phenylphosphorin from 1-benzylphosphole by reaction with benzoyl chloride, followed by sulfurization and pyrolysis with nickel powder at around 170-200 deg C is described. In order to prepare some unknown 4-acylphosphorins, we have also

An optimized phosphole-phosphorin conversion procedure has been used for preparing the first known 2-(2'-pyridyl)phosphorin from 1-phenyl-3,4-dimethylphosphole and picolinic acid chloride.
